The closest thing to a "quick fix" you'll find is a keto diet (Atkins induction). You lose a lot of weight in the first couple of weeks, some fat, mostly water, but it will help you to look and feel leaner. If you want *lasting* weight loss, you need to develop a sound exercise and diet program. Don't ruin your health for an upcoming deadline you didn't have the discipline to plan for. Remember, the faster you lose weight the faster it will come back. And if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, a lot of it is probably muscle and is going to kill your metabolism, so be careful.
