dislocated shoulder question

I dislocated my shoulder about 10 days ago playing softball. It is still fairly sore and my arm movement is restricted. It definately doesnt hurt as much as it did right after it happened though. My question is, is the soreness and movement restriction normal for this type of injury? My shoulder has also been clicking when i move it sometimes. Is that normal as well? How long does it take for this type of injury to heal 100%?

any info will help, thanks guys...

Re: dislocated shoulder question

Yes!!! Very normal. Swelling too. Dependent on your age, it'll take a couple of weeks for the swelling to go down, which is what is restricting your ROM (range of motion).
