Im not sure about which specific shoes but definitely ones that have support and cushion. If you can get a small padded kitchen rug or even folded carboard will help.

Re: back pain at work after standing on concrete floor for 5-8hrs

Im a hairstylist and I stand for 8-9 hours a day. My back used to hurt all the time really really bad ( and Im only 20) I was going to a chiropractic type doctor every 4 weeks! But Ive been doing a lot more strength training with my trainer and my back has gotten really strong and I have very very little back pain now and I can go do my job all day without feeling like im 90! I dont know how much working out you do but definately give it a try! Also I like naturalizers, aerosoles, and inserts for your shoes. Im not sure how dressy you need to be for work but they have some cute stuff. or a good supportive running shoe would be good, if you can wear them!

Good luck!
