Swollen groin lymph nodes after exercise??

I'm 27 year old male, and I've been lifting weights since I was 20. It may also be helpful to note that I had surgery on an undescended testicle when I was very young. I went to the doctor because when I lift weights, I get discomfort in my groin on the left side. I can also feel a swollen tendon, or what I assume is the lymph node. I thought maybe it was aggravated scar tissue. The doctor checked me for a hernia, took a urine sample, gave me some anti-inflammatory pills, and seemed to think I was ok. I'm convinced the swelling and discomfort is caused by my workouts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Swollen groin lymph nodes after exercise??

well im no MD or nothing but i would say go with your gut. lay off for a week or two see how you feel. if you feel fine go back to you routine, and if the pain comes back you know it is the workout. i am sure you don't want to be playing with pain in that area for too long.
