I am a 29 year old male. I take a normal diet everyday. My problem is that I have belly fat since 6-7 years as well as fats in my chest (looks like boobs) which puts me to shame in public.
I am taking a regular walk (fast walk) and walk for about 4 kms every evening.
What I want to know is that, is this enough to loose my belly and chest fats or do I have to do exercise along with it? I am not looking to make 6 abs but a fat less belly and chest.
Please advise.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm not into workingout as I suffer Arthritis so my exercise is walking and stretching and keeping on the move. My son works out regular in the Gym and eats very healthy and in his mid forties has a perfect flat stomach.
I believe exercise is very important along with a healthy diet. In later years I put on weight around my stomach. I eliminated all forms of sugar for one month from my diet and with gentle exercise and a really healthy diet I lost all my bulging stomach plus 7 lbs in weight.
Others may give you further advice. Walking is a good form of exercise but a helthy diet along with it is essential. Good Luck,
So you mean just walking is not enough but some exercise is also necessary?
Walking is good but you could try some light exercises as well.
Diet is a most important factor, I dont mean starving yourself but eating Healthy
everyday.
Good Luck,
Does it matter if I take the walk in evening or in morning? Does it make a huge difference?
Thanks
Personally I dont think it makes any difference.
The only thing I would say is dont walk straight after a large meal, such as your dinner whenever that may be.
Give your food time to digest, say an hour or so.
No, it doesn't matter what time of the day you take a walk or exercise. Whatever works for you. I would suggest for your weight loss to walk 60-90 min a day. Yes, it would be great to add several chest and abdominal exercises to your routine too. You can do 60 min walking and 30 min of chest & abdominal exercise too. You can split the routine, just keep in mind to achieve at least 10 min of continuous exercise per bout.
