Hello. I'm a beginning runner. I run with my heels hitting first. My trainer tells me I should run on the front of my feet. Advice please! Heels are easier. I feel like I have no control on the front of the feet. Any running advice is appreciated!!!!
Heels first is faster, but you must wear good running shoes with padding if you run heels first. If you run barefoot or in "minimalist" shoes, you must land on the front of your feet, otherwise you can damage your heels.
