Amblyopia / Lazy Eye in adulthood

Hi all... I am 41 years old and I have a lazy left eye. As a child, I used to have to frequently attend the eye hospital, and wear a patch on my right eye, though I don't think it did much good really. Now, I have recently had LASIK on my right eye, to improve my distance vision, but I am acutely aware of how lazy my left eye is. Can anyone advise if there is anything I can do to make my left eye less lazy? Are there any treatments or specialists for this who work with adults? Any research? Thank you so much in anticipation!!

Re: Amblyopia / Lazy Eye in adulthood

Hi.. I have a lazy eye as well. There are eye exercises that could help strengthen the muscles of the eye...which could help regarding maintaining focus.
