Cool Eye Floaters

I've had minimal eye floater episodes before, but this week they seemed to have gotten worse. I had a bad spell while shopping in a very bright/well lit store last week - only in my left eye. It concerned me so much that I went to the eye doctor and had a very extensive exam. My eyes are perfectly healthy. The doctor suggested I may have had an ocular migraine or it could just have been floaters. I'm relieved, but now I'm more aware of them. It seems looking into bright light; either or indoor lighting, triggers the floaters. Can you relate to this? How long do your floater "episodes" last? Thank you!

Re: Eye Floaters

I have bits of black thread that my brain now ignores (most of the time)

I did once have what looked like a shower of little bright bits when looking at the computer screen...also in the bedroom in the dark I had what seemed like lightening episodes
I did have a visit to the Hospital eye dept who told me I had nothing to worry about, but to come back if it happened again (it hasn't)

My Brother In Law had what he described as a dark curtain in his vision and needed an op for detached retina
So a dark curtain is an emergency
