| Re: contact lens headaches- what's the deal?
have you been wearing same brand/model of contact lenses in the last 7 years? any changes to your life style?(wearing cl for longer period of time?)
i've been only wearing contact lenses for about 12 months, and the experience is quite mixed up. i do get the symptons you're talking about, blurry, dry and dust in the eye, but those are periodical, not all the time. and the dreaded headache as i wear it, and goes away when i take it out.
in my short 12 months experience with contact lenses, i've been using exclusively Cooper Vision's Frequency 55 Aspheric, they're monthly disposal, very cheap(compared to J&J acuvue) and other bi-weekly disposals.
i don't like them.
i've recently start wearing J&J Acuvue 2, and it's much much better right off the bat, i can wear for 16+ hours a day, and not feeling anything. but the comfort comes for a price, it cost about twice as much as old ones i used to wear.
i don't want to make this to sound like a commercial promotion, but i strongly suggest you try different brand/models of contact lenses.
