Itchy, bloodshot eyes.... - Eye & Vision Message Board

It seems that almost every night my eyes become very itchy and become bloodshot. Lately it has even started happening during the day. I do wear glasses for an astigmatism, but I do not think they effect anything. I also seem to be getting headaches every day. Could this be from stress or are there any other ideas out there? Thank you

Hi evildead,

I suggest you see an ophthalmologist. They are experts in conditions of the eye. I wouldnt take any chances with my vision if I were you.

Thank you for your concern. I plan to visit a doctor when I can, but I thought I'd check here in teh meantime to see if anyone had a similar problem.

I do and it drives me CRAZY beyond belief. I'll be sitting around, and my eyes will just start ITCHING. And then they get all pink. The headaches I get off and on though. I'm thinking maybe you have allergies?
