For 6 months now I have had double cloudy vision in the left eye. I have been to several Ophthalmologists and a Neurologist. Now I am being referred to a Neuro-Ophthalmologist at the Cleveland Clinic. My double vision gets worse as the day goes on. I have had 2 MRI's, a tensilon test, a single fibre emg and lot of blood work and they are still not sure what I have. Everything so far comes up in the normal range.
Does anyone have these problems and have any information they can share with me. I do have prism glasses which help somewhat, especially for driving.
Do you mean you see double when your right eye is closed, but single when your left eye is closed? Double vision involving both eyes is a brain thing, but double vision in one eye only is ususally an eye thing. You're getting good medical care, so there's nothing I can suggest.
I have double vision when both eyes are open. The vision does not line up right.
The left eye's vision is lower than the right eye. What do you think? The Neurologist said it might be decompressed strabismus (a crossed eye when I was a child that got worse when I got older). Do you know anyone that every had surgery for this?
I am anxious to go to the Cleveland Clinic and see what they say.
Thanks so much for your reply.
