Exclamation Need help on "star vision" and other problems

Took magic shrooms about a month ago, ever since I am having vision, anxiety, and depression problems. Have been to a psychiatrist 4 times since and have tried many diferent medications for all of my problems exept for the vision. I assume that my doctor thinks that my anxiety and panic attacks are causing it but I am very skeptical because it seems the complete oposite. Whenever I notice these vision problems I tend to get psychollogicaly worse with everything else. Here's what happens and when it happens. When sitting still (typically indoors) and watching Tv, and when driving I have "star vision" I'm not sure if that is what it is technically called though. It can be compared to vision when having watery or squiting eyes. Most light sources, Tv, tailights, headlights, traffic lights give me this problems. I am also seeing other light and shadow anomalyes in my parephreal vision. For instance when watching TV I'll notice a shadow or contour on the wall behind it, When I look directly at the shadow/contour it disapears. These problems make me feel like I am halucinating and create panic attacks that have to be subsided with xanax. I really do belive that my vision is working as a trigger for many of my mood problems that I am currently having. Otherwise I can function just fine. Instead of watching as much TV as I did I read allot more because it does not bother me at all. Does anyone have any advise on my problem? I can supply more detailed information of what other things I am experiencing if that would help. I am mostly wondering if this is a neurological/psychological problem or a vision problem that may be corrected with some of the technology that is out there now (lasik, glasses, vision meds).

Side note: I have never had any problems with my vision before this. Everything has been crystal clear with no need for glasses or anything like that.

Thank you to anyone who can help!

From intheknowzone.com:
Long-term Effects of LSD, Mushrooms, and Mescaline
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Increased risk of developing schizophrenia or psychotic episodes
  • Miscarriages
  • Birth defects
  • Fatal liver damage if the wrong mushroom is ingested.
  • Flashbacks
  • Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder (HPPD) -- trailing images, spots, auras, and other visual disturbances; depression, or panic attacks; long after use or perhaps permanent

Seriousperson's last point pretty much says it all. We've had others on here who have the same symptoms from taking prescription meds. Let's hope yours clears up in time.
