watery vision - Eye & Vision Message Board

my vision in my weak right eye has become blurry, like im looking through dirty water, slightly distorted and dark, did have to squint a bit in bright sunlight, im only 36 so am not sure what this may be any ideas, i do wear specs for near sight,like looking through watery film?

You may have dry eyes. Yes, it does not sound right, but watering eyes happens to be one of the dry eye symptoms. Quality of tears just do not keep the eye moist.

You need to see an eye doctor, preferbly an opthalmologist. If what you are seeing is something like "dirty water", it may be possibly you have some bleeding into the eye from a tear in the retina or ruptured blood vessel. Is the dirty water brownish looking?
It is imperative to get this checked without delay.
If a blood vessel is bleeding or a tear has occurred, the sooner you have it checked out the better.
I don't want to scare you, but any sudden vision changes should be evaluted.
