| Re: blepharitis question
I went for an eye exam 2 years ago and at that time my doctor told me I had blepharitis but did not have to treat it. I changed eye doctors about six months later and this doctor prescribed a antibiotic ointment to use on my eyelids at bedtime. I used it for a month and the condition seemed to improve. I have noticed that it is worse in the cold weather and better in the Summer. I have the kind that gives you red eyelids and can be irratating and itchy. All I do is take a hot cloth and rub it on my eyes after I shower in the morning and that makes my eyes feel better. I also have a mild case of rocasea on my face so that may be why I have the bleparitis..
