Feel little bumpy things under eyelids - Eye & Vision Message Board

I have been having problems with dry eyes and painful little bumpy things under my eyelids. I wake up in middle of night with eyelids stuck to eyeball and have to put in eyedrops. I have gone do eye dr., specialist, sinus dr., dermatologists, etc. Ruled out Lupus, Sjogrens and Sinus. The last eyelid specialist said he thought it was ocular rosacea so am taking tetracycline for 30 days, however, I have gone to dermatologist today and he says I do not have rosacea. I have been dealing with this eye thing for months. Does anyone know if you can have ocular rosacea and not have the facial rosacea? Does anyone else feel these little bumpy things in their eyelids? I have been doing the warm compresses and massage. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for any help.

I have Blepharitis. It feels like a thick eyelid, very dry eye and only on one side. I believe that the little bumpy things are also a symptom of Blepharitis.

I'm sorry you are having problems and no one seems to be able to help. I went to my regular optomitrist and he diagnosed me.
