eye infection? help! - Eye & Vision Message Board

I thought maybe I scratched my cornea. I have been putting just normal eyedrops (visine), but this morning, after 3 days of eyedrops, the bump on my eyeball went from clear to yellow (pus-like). it's right by my pupil. i think it got infected. I have no health insurance until march. what can I do? wait it out? HELP!

Don't wait it out. Visine is the worst thing to put in your eyes according to Eye Docs. Don't mess with your eyes. It may not be that expensive; you can't wait until March. If you have a doc ask him if he has any of the med[s] you will need to clear up this infection. You may need Ciloxan or Flarex or something similar.
