Floaters & Ghost Images - Eye & Vision Message Board

After recovering from a nasty viral illness i started getting black and clear floaters in both eyes and ghost images at night. When i look at a road sign at night there is a duplicate above the orignal. It happens in both eyes and also when either eye is covered. When to eye doctors and they said my eyes are fine. Any ideas out there? This has been going on 4 months.

Are or were you on any new medication during or after the virus?

I was on amoxicillin for a tooth infection after the virus had left. I suppose the damage is here for good.

That's probably what it is. Maybe in time the ghosting will disappear. What a shame, I just had a feeling it had to do with medication. Try not to focus on it and know it could have been worse. I wish you the best of health for the New Year.
