puffy and red eyes - Eye & Vision Message Board

the red vains on the top of my eyes are very visible, making my eyes look red on top. and the bottom of my eyes are always really puffy. i know it is not genetic because i have not always been this way. i have tried getting more sleep, eating better, drinking more water and there is no stress in my life either. i have also tried all sorts of creames imaginable but i cannot seem to get rid of the problem. any tips?

May I suggest that you get tested for allergies? I never had eye problems until about 1 year ago. I began suffering from red, puffy, itchy eyes. I went to an allergist, was tested and told that I was severely allergic to dust and moderately allergic to a few other things. Allergies sometimes come and go throughout a lifetime, so I've been told.
