is it okay if i use contact lenses exceeding the given period?? you know, i used monthly disposable contact lenses. i have to use a new one every 30 days. but sometimes, i missed out the actual 'changing' day. is it okay??
fyi, it still comfortable although it is way exceeded the grace period..

Well, I'm no specialist, but I've worn my monthly-disponsables for a few days more than directed once or twice and considering I went for a checkup just yesterday (at which I was told my eyes were 100% healthy too) I don't think a few days (I'm talking 3 or 4) matter THAT much.

I think it is not that bad, if you use your contact lenses a few days longer, as long as you made sure that you clean them properly everyday. I wear mine about 6 weeks and i never felt uncomfortable or had any signs of infections.

i just curious that my eyes could be infected beacuse of it. anyway, sunrise..you wore yours about 6 weeks?? doesnt i wayyy too far from expiry?? do you feel any uncomfortable?? you know maybe a little bit...just a bit??

I have contacts also and I sometimes go over the expiration date. I asked my doctor about this and she said that the only problem that could occur is the contact could rip in your eye because of over usage. I would say don't use the contacts more than 5-6 days of the expiration date. :-)
