15 mins of bluryness

i have recently been getting blurry eyes for around 15 minutes each day it is wierd to explain but quite suddenly i get patchy/blury eyesight it lasts around 15 minutes before it goes away. it is really akward to read and see things and i am just about to start driving lessons and driving would be impossible if it happens whilst im driving. i have been to the optitions and they said my eyesight was fine. i am booked in for an eye hospital appointment on the 31st of july but want to hear something to put my mind at rest until then can anyone help? i used to get really bad headaches and sickness after but now i have been prescribed propanolol the headaches arent nearly as bad and i am not sick anymore. anyone know what it could be??????

Re: 15 mins of bluryness

It could be migraine and the blurriness a migraine aura. Look up migraine aura. Often it consists of zigzag lines, but blind spots and other visual phenomena are common. Since you used to get a bad headache afterwards, that's what it sounds like.
If you're getting this everyday, you'd have to talk to the doctor about medication to prevent it, and try to figure out what the trigger is.
