Hi All.

I have been suffereing from eye problems since about ten years ago.

The problem is that I cannot do anything like read or look at the computer for a while before my eyes start to ache and I have to stop. I cannot continue.

If I have done quite a bit of reading, etc, not only do my eyes ache, but the sockets and parts of my brain hurt also.

I get all the symptoms like itching, burning, hurting, sharp pains in the eyeballs like pins, fluttering eyelids, fluttering nerves the corner of eyes, ABSOLUTELY SPLITTING headaches related directly to the eyes. I also get dizzy spells, and shaky vision whenever I read for too long. I am 110% certain that all the above symptoms are directly related to my eyes and nothing else, because I NEVER get any of the symptoms unless I have strained my eyes.

I wear glasses, have had my eyes checked regularly and have obtained new glasses whenever I needed to.

I have been to both the doctor and the optician, but they say there is no problem. Well, if there was no problem, then why is it that I am unable to accept any form of employment which involves a fair amount of computer work?!?! This is clearly affecting my life.

I plan on seeing the doctor and optician again about this, but in the meantime, has anyone heard of anything similar and offer any guesses about what the problem could be?
