Refresh Tears & Bausch & Lomb Drops

I have been wearing contacts since I was in the 2nd grade, I am now 42 and are still wearing hard contact lenses. My eyes tend to get very dry and red so I have been using Allgern Refresh Tears and Bausch & Lomb Advance Eye relief for quite some time. I have noticed that my left eye has been very blurry and at times I cannot see at all and have to take the contacts out and clean them just so that I can see clearly. I am wondering if anyone has had a problem with their vision since using the two products I have mentioned above.

Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Karyn

Re: Refresh Tears & Bausch & Lomb Drops

I wore hard contacts (non-gas permeable) from the ages of 13 to 23 (I'm now 54). When I stopped wearing them I had the same symptoms you're describing, but I was a hippie and so didn't use any eye drops. They got so dry that on a windy day one literally blew out of my eye onto my cheek. In hindsight I think part of the problem was that they didn't fit properly anymore, that is, my eye had probably changed shape (I didn't get regular check ups either).
But, anyway, maybe it's time you tried those new soft ones for dry eyes. My sister has them. They are inherently juicy somehow, and actually help keep your eyes hydrated.
