For several months I have been noticing that my vision has gotten worse, I had mentioned it to my doc and he said I needed to have my eyes examined, which I did. I ended up with bifocals. Then for a while, I had BAD headaches.
It felt like I had been hit in the head, almost like a concussion. That went on every day for about a month or longer. When I had my eyes examined I told the doc that I have double vision, mostly when I am tired. He put a light in my eyes and said the light was wiggly, and I would be a candidate to be referred to a Neurologist. I do have a Neurologist, and mentioned it to him and he said it could be Optic Neuritis. He wanted me to see a specialist, I talked to my reg. doc, and he didn't seem to be concerned. He did ask if my vision was still getting worse. I told him I didn't think so, for now. Now my headaches are back almost everyday but not as bad. I can't say that I have noticed much of a change lately in my vision, and I do know that if it were Optic Neuritis it has been a while and not much can be done, or it can resolve on it's own. But I also know it can be a sign of MS or psuedo-tumor cerebri. I was really glad to see this board on here and hopefully somebody will give me an idea of what my next step would be. I did have MRI's of my c spine and l spine that didn't show anything like MS but I haven't had an MRI of my brain in about 4 years....does this sound like something may have been over looked? I think my next step would be the MRI or a Lumbar Puncture. I have a lot of other "stuff" going on so now I am to the point where I just want an answer....or am I just a worry wart??
