| Scared of going blind
I'm 21 years old and extremely nearsighted. I am -12 in one eye and -10 in the other. My prescription is not changing quickly/much now I am older but it has not stopped changing completely.
I am very worried about my retinas tearing or detaching and also that my sight will just keep deteriorating until I can no longer see at all!!
What is the chance that my retinas will tear??
I am so worried about this. I can't sleep at night because I'm scared I'll wake up and not be able to see :[
