Vision dark in one eye in morning

Hello! I am having an issue where one eye (left) has much darker vision first thing in the morning. It eventually clears up but tends to be more sensitive to light for a while. It is especially sensitive to light when I have a bad headache, but no vision problems then. The darkness in my vision is quite noticeable and is every morning. Has anyone ever had this? I have a vision appointment, but it is not until a month and a half from now (darn insurance). Any comments or suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
