my eyes hurt alot like someone pounding my eyes. They are sensitive to light like when on the computer or watching tv. my eyes are red. my eye veins are visible. my doctor gave me drops artificial tears and something else but they just irritate and make my eyes hurt. what should i do? I also take migraine topamax 50 mgs once a day because doctor said we should try once a day instead of twice to see if i could stop taking it. just wrote this for you cold know what medicine i am taking please leave comment or suggestion very worried.

This sounds very much like excessive use of the computer combined with not enough sleep. Your doctor is right to try to wean you off migraine meds because it is far better to find and eliminate the cause. Migraine is usually a reaction to some form of inappropriate stimulus. The two factors I mentioned already are key causes of migraine. Others are certain food additives and especially artificial sweeteners such as aspartame.
Are you getting enough fresh air and exercise? Are you on a healthy diet? All of these lifestyle issues are contibutors to the conditions you describe.
Many larger companies have health and safety regulations that impose limits on the length of time their employees can stay on the computer without a break so take a leaf from their book and realise that you have to live more healthily if you want to avoid problems.

at work i use my computer about 14 hours every week and my house has some mold can that be the problem .
