That sounds like pink eye. It is possible for allergies to cause it though. I would see your doctor for some eye drops just in case.

It could be allergic conjunctivitis. It is similar in symptoms to pink eye, but it is not contagious and is caused by allergies. It is good to go to the doctor to make sure it isn't pink eye, which is very contagious. If it is allregic conjunctivitis, OTC Zaditor and natural tear drops like Refresh may help.
