Post eye floaters!

sometimes i see an eletrical discharge from some black floaters in my eyes and at other times they block people out of my vision. At other times i get some chest pains tingling of the arms and my muscles seem to sporadically flex by themselves till they hurt.

Re: eye floaters!

The 'floaters' and flashes you describe could be attributed to a range of conditions so you really should have them checked by an ophthalmologist (not an optometrist).
The muscle pains and spasms could be due to some other condition not related to the visual disturbances but, just in case they are all connected, you should mention them when you see the ophthalmologist.
Make an appointment as quickly as possible to make sure that this does not develop into something more serious. The Ear and Eye Hospital in Wenatchee would be a good place to start.

Re: eye floaters!

I've had floaters all my life, and they aren't usually a concern unless they rapidly worsten. Sometimes they get annoying because they position themselves in the center of my field of vision. The flashes could be vitreous detachment. It occurs in most people between ages 40-60. It's only serious if the vitreous is so firmly attached to the retina that it can't properly detach.
