Occasional black blobs in corner of eye?
Hi, I'll try to be as clear as I can. Today I've found myself noticing that I had a brief black blob right in the outside corner of my left eye. It lasts maybe one second, and seems like it's a smoothly expanding "bubble" but it never gets beyond the corner. It only really happens when I'm using the computer, e.g. if I've been staring at the screen for a few minutes then look down at a piece of paper on the desk. When I was walking around outside in the daylight I didn't notice it happening at all.
I don't have an increase in floaters (I've always had a few, so I know what they look like) there's no "dark curtain" effect and I'm not seeing flashes. My actual vision is O.K. and except when those blobs are there I can see fine except for that I'm shortsighted so don't have good peripheral vision anyway as my glasses don't cover that part! The eye in question does feel just a little heavy, but not uncomfortably.
