| random bouts of blurred vision with or without glasses on, slight dizziness....
A few weeks ago my eyes started to go blurry with or without my glasses on for short periods of time- during which I'd become slightly dizzy. It randomly started after a day-long migraine, and only lasted for about 2 weeks. Something very similiar happened to me for a few weeks a couple of years ago AFTER I first got a prescription for eyeglasses, but went away until now.
It feels as though my eyes are crossing on their own, but others say that my eyes don't look crossed. Sometimes, if I close one eye, it helps my vision un-blur faster.
Ever since I can remember I've had a lot of headaches, but they drastically declined once I was prescribed glasses. However, the occasional and completely debilitating migraine still happens. The last migraine I had was the day before my eyes started randomly blurring again. I haven't had any regular headaches since before my eyes started acting up.
I went to the eye doctor today, in hopes that my prescription was in need of updating and therefore causing my blurred vision a few weeks ago, however, he told me that my eyes seem healthy, and my rX is only VERY SLIGHTLY different. He did tell me he thinks the blurred vision may be a sign of a neurological disorder, and now I am scheduled next week to go in for further testing with him, and also eye dilation. I have had my eyes dilated at every other eye exam I've had, but today he didn't dilate them for some reason.
I came home and googled neurological disorders associated with blurred vision... and obviously I'm completely worried now.
Has anyone ever experienced anything similiar? What was your diagnosis? I'm sort of freaking out about this!
