Are there under eyelid lumps that are not stye or chalazion?
Over the past year and half I've had lumps developing under my bottom eyelids. They don't quite seem to fit the description of a stye or chalazion. I looked at hundreds of pictures of both and none look like what I have.
At first I could just feel a very small hard place under my eyelid that wasn't visible from the outside. Over time they gotten so big that they are very noticeable from the outside. They are lumps just below my eyelashes. It has started to look like I have permanently puffy bottom eyelids.
They don't hurt at all. They are quite hard. During all the time they have been develping when I flip the eyelid there is nothing on the inside of it that looks different than it should be. There's no redness or itching. It just looks like someone has inserted peas under my eyelids.
When they were first developing I just assumed they had to be a stye or chalazion so I tried hot compresses but they seemed to make the lumps get bigger faster.
Any clue what they might be? I know they could be potentially be a strange kind of chalazion but I'd like to know if there's anything else they could be. Describe these symptoms and people automatically jump to stye or chalazion. I'm just thinking there's something else out there they might be.
I don't have the money at the moment to get them looked at by a doctor but they keep getting bigger and bigger. I'd like to get more info before I sink myself in a bunch of credit card debt getting them looked at.
