Mildly itchy eyes before PRK surgery.

Hi,
I have my PRK surgery due for tomorrow.
I'm a bit worried because my eyes are mildly itchy. I am recovering from a common cold so I thought my itchy eyes were caused from viral conjunctivitis. However, my eyes are and have not been experiencing any watering, nor inflammation whatsoever, so it may not be conjunctivitis.
Anyhow, I want to know if you think it is absolutely necessary for the PRK surgery to be postponed for a later date.
I will definitely let my surgeon know prior to the surgery and ask him what he thinks, but I want to know what I should expect.
Thanks!
