pixpuf Junior Member (female) Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Great Falls MT USA Posts: 31	Vitrectomy without face down posturing Face down posturing is almost impossible for me because of artheritis in my neck. I have read several articles on the internet stating that you can have a sucessful vitrectomy without face down posturing. I don't think my doctor will use oil but he did mention something about a longer lasting gas. Has anyone had this gas or any results from surgery withot posturing. Some doctors favor no posturing.
