Pterygium recovery
Hello all, I am undergoing pterygium surgery with autograft in a few weeks, and I am wanting to know the time for recovery is. How long until they get back to looking how they currently look pre surgery and then improve.
I have a function I would like to attend 8 days after surgery,and dont want to attend if my eye is really red.
Can I use murine clear eyes 8 days after surgery? And is it alright to have any alcohol on this night . Thankyou

Hi Jeremiah. I am sorry I don't have an answer for you - wish someone else with experience in this could reply. I had a pterygium on my eye as well before - apparently it cleared up on its own. I wonder what causes them...I hope your surgery goes well - and hope someone can reply with some info for you!
