help my right eye is almost blind
I had a stroke last year and it affected my eyes to the point
that I can't drive at all and am even afraid of crossing the street. But
now my right eye appears to have a black veil over it and I feel a type
of heaviness in it. I have no health insurance and I'm trying to get
disability because there is no way I can work so I also can't afford
to go to the dr. Do you know what might be wrong? I'm hoping it's not
a detacted retina.

So sorry to hear about you vision loss. Get to an eye dr. as soon as you can, even with no insurance, there are funds avaiable for eye car, ask your eye dr. about them.
The sooner you go the better.
I'll say a prayer for you.

gmamasquishy whatever happened with your eye? I am uninsured too and will be untill 2014 when the new healthcare kicks in.
