Re: Eye Inflammation
Pred Forte is listed in the tables to the right on this page, with quite a few other treatments, and I'm using Navanac, which isn't listed here. Both Navanac and Pred Forte are used in connection with cataract surgery, I know. Why not get a second opinion before you go back?
There's some class action suits about Kenalog, not really licensed for eyes at all, and previous opthalmologists knew it's not for low-thyroid people, won't drain out, but thought my rather large dosage of T4 would prevent the metabolic drainage problem that has damaged my vision, debris in there for years. Don't know yet if the damage is permanent. Hope I can remember to ask Primary Care lady about Thyroid Resistance, and my AutoImmune and Chronic Inflammation disorders. I think some people are trying to get Kenalog off the market. Good luck. Keep us posted. I for one am certainly curious. Thanks.
I may as well ask a question too, about some inflammation drops, Nevanac, that are like ibuprofin, normally used in connection with cataract surgery, and I'm nervous about everything since last Kenalog experience. It made a cloudy spot this morning, so I'm sure not using it 3X a day, have read that you can get chemical burns from some of the Dry Eye drops, and I'm also nervous about punctal plugs, that disintegrate in about a month, but with my luck something might go wrong, and they can't be taken out sooner! They don't cause any trouble, USUALLY, but with my luck....
I have AutoImmune Disease (or Disorder) which may be related to chronic Inflammatory Disease (or Disorder) and
Thyroid Resistance, still have some of the hypo symptoms despite fairly large doseage. Hope my Primary Care can explain all that in simple terms next week.
