cataracts and doctors
Has anyone in the SE had their cataract surgery cancelled or delayed because their EKG
came back with abnormalities?? What did you do...I would like to hear of your experience.
Please say where you had it done if you can and how it went in detail. Are you happy with it etc.And did your surgeon even require an EKG for the pre surgery physical.??? thanks.

xx1944, I had a lens replacement on 01/24/2013 in NE Illinois. I needed clearance from my primary physician and had a resting EKG. During the surgery I had an IV, was sedated, and was monitored by an Anesthesiologist, so it was probably a good thing your surgery was postponed as complications can arise during surgery. Do follow up with a cardiologist and good luck. senior41 10/26/2013
