Unhappy Hazy Antimated Vision

I have various vision problems from blind spots in peripheral and so on but the latest problem I'm having is hazy, animated vision. When looking at objects & pics etc, it looks as though they are moving. Not easy to explain but it looks as though I'm seeing things through heat rays and things look like they are moving instead of still. Trying to find out if anyone else has anything similar? It's constant and no it's not a migraine aura (I know what auras are as I have had them for many years now). It's really becoming a struggle to focus on reading or anything at this point. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Hazy Antimated Vision

Iknow exactly what you are talking about it happens to me at times when I am driving/at a stop light, it may come from the side or the front.......its very strange but I think it may be relatively common I believe ive had it all my life. I have also had auras, optical migraines, spirals to the sides, flashing lights, cobwebs and spots......are you very nearsighted? I also now have cataracts. I believe we can expect these things I have learned people have a lot of different issues from reading these boards so we are not alone. Please go to a GOOD Opthamologist if you haven't already ..... please post back when you do! Mary.

Re: Hazy Antimated Vision

I have had this problem for nearly 10 years so you're not alone.

I'm afraid I'm still searching for the answers/solutions myself so I cannot help there but rest assured you're not the only one.

Re: Hazy Antimated Vision

Believe me, I've been to several opthalmologists which are all stumped as to what causes my vision issues as I've gotten a clean bill of health with my eyes. I have a follow up with my specialist I see at the university hospital in our area. Thanks Much!
