Re: my vision go strange on sun light!!
Make sure that you don't have a detatched retina, which can cause these. I have also had worm like interruptions and dots, etc for 30yrs. The first several years drove me nuts and I could no longer enjoy looking at the beautiful blue sky as it was full of cobwebs, exactly what you said worm looking things etc. It happened after what I was told I had....an "Optical Migraine" there was no pain involved but bright crescent lights around the edge of my field of vision , at night time , lasted about 20 minutes. It only happened once but that was all it took. The Dr. told me had I not had this optical migraine, I would have had the most massive headache of my life. However the after effect is what I just described. I am totally used to it now, I don't like it but at least I can see, as it could have detached my retina, and I did see a retina specialist. He said not to worry but I have a good checkup every year and two years ago he found cataracts,,,,,which I am told the removal of cause even more "floaters" or worms, or cobwebs or whatever your effects are. THe Dr. said he could Def. "see" them when he looked into my eyes. I told him that they appeared to me what I used to see when I studied under the microscope in science class. Like single cell blood sells and tissue debris, and he said that was exactly what it was. Sometimes the retina pulls away, and "cells" are released into the vitreous humor, and that debris gets in the way of our field of vision. I also find it more comforting and less disturbing when Im driving, if I am driving on a road with Green Trees on both sides of me. It seems the color GREEN seems to diminish these visual disturbances. Good Luck. Get a good checkup and if he says you are ok, its just one more thing to get "used to" with this temporary life we are in! Mary
