Hi. About three weeks ago my mom found a lump on her neck/shoulder. in the open space by her collar bone. She went to the dr who sent her for an ultrasound. After the ultrasound they sent he for an MRI. She then went in and talked to the dr last week, who said that he was concerned because of the density of the masses (3 were found) and because of the rate of growth. When we discovered the lump it was about quarter size today it is about the size of a golf ball, (no painfull) so she is set to go in for a byopsy on Monday. I would like to realistic about this and at the same time i am scared to death. Has anyone been here, can you tell me what the likely hood is that it is lymphoma as the dr suspects. We got the good old "hope for the best prepare for the worst" speech. Any thoughts would be great! thanx
