classic symptoms, finally a diagnosis
My husband was dx on Jan 2, 2012. After months and months of questioning his drs. He gave them the classic symptoms when he described what was happening AND he had been dx with Diabetes 2 in Jan of 2011. The drs just didn't take long enough with him to put 2 and 2 together. It was "on to the next patient" because the drs don't hang in with a patient for a really long chat about what is going on.
So, my husband has lost 57 pounds, throws up all he eats. Struggles to make it to get the paper every morning and THAT is his only outing. Can't sleep in bed because of the belching...... classic PC symptom.
He tried chemo for 3 treatments and quit. Now, he wants to try again. It is just torture. But, you know, I think the reason why he wants to prolong his life even knowing what he faces in doing so... is this. We are happier than we have been in years, in our personal relationship. Love oozes from every pore from both of us. During those wonderful moments, if I can shut out the thought of how I am going to cry in rememberance of these, it is so wonderfully warm and fulfilling.
