| my motherinlaw has been diagnosed with stomach cancer
I have found out tonight that my motherinlaw has been diagnosed with stomach cancer which has spread to her colon and liver! She cannot be operated on but can have chemo.She hasto have a colonectomy this week,can you tell me truthfully are we to prepare for the worst or can the chemo buy her a lot more time and if so what will her quality of life be.She is only 68yrs and very young and active.
I am finding this very difficult as i lost my brother in Feb to lung cancer and 3 weeks later my sister died of a brain heamorage,so as you can imagine my head is all over the place.
