i just recently tried out chiropractic again. i had an absolutely incredible chiropractor about 15 years ago, before i was dx'ed with fibro, but after dx of epstein-barr. she helped a lot with pain from a back injury (soft tissue).
i have been to good chiros and bad chiros. i haven't had any horrific results, just the bad ones didn't help much.
my current chiro helped A LOT at first, but we've hit a brick wall. i've been sick, so i haven't seen him for about a week. i'm hoping he can do something for the stiffness/pain in my upper back, but it's not responding well.
to make a long story short, a good chiro can help a lot. just make sure they are using very gentle methods, and get one that you trust. some of them just "force bones into place" (my current chiro's words). i find that is incredibly unhelpful.
good luck to you!
