Question Colostrum

Hi to all fibromyalgia sufferers. I have been reading posts and find it a great support. Thanks
It seems a long time ago that colostrum was going to be the cure all for fibro. I took it for two months and I did not see any change. Other posts on this site were claiming great success and, of course, this made me feel even worse. But I would try again if I thought it might work. (desperation !). What ever happened to all the other people who were on colostrum and is the success continuing ?

Re: Colostrum

I tried it and it did nothing for my Fibro. It may be a good nutritional supplement, but I think many people got taken in on that one, that's why you don't hear about it any more.

Re: Colostrum

As we all know FMS is a disorder that may be caused by a variety of problems and different people are also affected differently by various treatments.

Colostrum is used to help boost your immune system, and increase your energy level and in some cases helps allergic reactions. There are some good brands on the market and I am sure some bad ones since it is unregulated supplement. I think it can help some people but not all??

As we know it such a undefined illness ---I have read that some muscle spasms and cramping pain is caused from lack of Magnesium in your diets, other people are helped by changes in diet, eliminating nightshade veggies, eliminating caffeine, sugar and alcohol, meats, dairy products, massage therapy helps, cold showers may help some joint pain and hot baths relax muscles and the list goes on.

The big problem is trying to figure out what helps you??? I guess we have to try them one at a time.

Doctors can't even agree on the best treatment and we went to one Doctor that didn't even want to admit that there is such a Problem as Fibromyalgia. It only took one visit to not be our Doctor-

God Bless--- Harry
