Fibromyalgia Clinic - Fibromyalgia Message Board

There's a clinic in Chicago specializing in fibromyalgia called the Paragon Clinic. I was wondering if anyone at this board has ever been there? I found out about it a couple of years ago but I kept putting off calling them. I've visited their website but I was wondering if I could find out more about them from a patient's point of view. If anybody has any information on the clinic (or any other clinics in the Chicago area), it would be greatly, greatly appreciated!

Kiki: They have a website. Just do a search for their clinic and there will be all kinds of info on it there.

Molly -- I've never heard of any other fibromyalgia clinics in the US other than this one. Actually, I was quite shocked to find out they had one anywhere, much less in my area. I hope you have a good doctor in your area.

And thanks for your help, tk! I was just wondering if there was anyone who might have visited the clinic -- they say they've had people from all over visit them...I might check them out anyway because they are actually covered by my insurance. I was really interested in the Paragon Clinic because my regular doctors have been of little use to me. Ah, well...

How fortunate to have fibro clinic in your area. Type in fibromyalgia Chicago in search and several things will come up. I type for Christ Hospital even though I live in WI and have typed reports on several patients with fibro who were admitted for exacerbation of symptoms. Please keep us up-to-date on any treatment you receive in that area as it will be very interesting to hear how doctors who recognize fibro treat their patients. (TT)
