| Re: Unexplained bruising
A couple of things come to mind.
First, if FMS affects you as it does me, you may whack into things when your balance is off. I do this all the time, and it may hurt at the the time, but the bruise takes a while to show up, and by the time it appears, I've forgotten what I did to get. Half the time, I never notice.
Second, and of greater concern, is that it may point to another condition. Some illnesses feature unexplained bruising as a common symptom, particularly those involving excesses or deficits of red or white blood cells. If you're going to see one of your docs soon, ask then; if you don't have one scheduled for a while, I'd call my PCP and ask.
Good luck!
