Not Moving One Muscle or Joint

Sometimes when I'm at my physical worst I'll sit in a chair and won't move a muscle or joint. I sit without turning my head, torso, legs, feet, etc.
It hurts each time I try to. So--I'll do this for about an hour or so while watching tv or being a passenger in a car.

Convential wisdom might say it's better to exercise these areas to loosen them up, but I find that after an hour or two of doing this the areas loosen up and I'm better able to move.

I just wanted to bring this up because so many times I wonder if what I do is 'normal' in the world of Fibromyalgia. I have nobody to ask except the rheumatologist and I only see him once every three months. And, I haven't asked him because this is something new I've been doing.

Hi Ed
I know it is only me again and when I am in alot of pain I to sometimes stay as still as i can because the pain of moving can become to much for me to handle, if I am not really bad i find if I get up and walk around iin the morning it will help releive some of my pain it just depends on how bad the pain is .
