Exercise: walking, yoga, gyms, running, brisk walking, swimming, stretches:
damned if you do, damned if you don't. Along with other 'exercises'.
I can sit for days and hurt. I can do some of the above and still have pain.
It doesn't seem to matter one way or another for me whether I exercise or not: I still get the same results.
Exercises always leave me worse. Some people say "Just keep exercising and you'll be OK". Sure. Why not? I end up having to stop sometime and then lie in bed on my back and am so fatigued I can't even get the energy to roll over on my stomach.
Am I the only one who is 'damned if you do, damned if you don't'?
Hey ED and Izzybella,
Your right dammed if you do and dammed if you do, I went to pain management for a month lived in another state which really bites. They had me do excersises everyday and the pain got worse then they said it was because of what I did at the hotel at nite, ya right the only thing I did was watch tv was to sore to do anything else. Any way now they want me to do stretching and excersises 3 times a day but after Ido that I end up in bed and in pain for about 3 hours so I cut it down to 1-2 times a day depending on how I feel.
My life has changed so much from 2 years ago where I was running and walking everyday now its hard just to go in and do shopping for food. Now Im trying to return to work tried it 3 times the first time was less then 3 hours second day was less then 2 and the 3rd day was 45 mins now they are going to finially have an occupational therapist be there with me I guess we will have to wait and see.
Have you guys had any problems with your eye sight mine has been getting worse since I got hurt and found out I had fibro?
Thanks
Kathy
