Re: stiff and achy in mornings

Stiff and achey are symptoms of fibromyalgia. If you will squirm/wiggle around in bed, stretch legs, form circles with feet, etc. it will help loosen up the muscles and you will feel less stiff when getting out of bed.

Re: stiff and achy in mornings

yes indeedy marie is right. Some mornings I wake up and feel like I am 20 years older. I try to pace myself getting up and it does help. if you lose sleep you will always feel worse in the morning. I also think sleep itself is hard for fibroi people becuase in order to sleep you must lie in the same position for several hours. While awake I change position every 15 minutes or I pay. MEmory foam seems to help a little on the bed.

Love Andy - Don't be scared, it will be alright.

Re: stiff and achy in mornings

I woke up so stiff and achey this morning that I couldn't even take my dog out. I had to put down some pads that attract them so that he can do whatever he has to do and then I can just bundle it up and throw it out.
I wake up like this every morning, along with pain. Everything joint and limb creaks and cracks from my neck to my toes. Last night I couldn't sleep and had to take a sleeping pill.

So--here's another one who feels like you did today. Unfortunately, it's an everyday thing for me.
