Your symptoms sound like you are hypothyroid--I had all those same symptoms for years and was always told my thyroid tests were "normal"--well, even though my blood tests were in the "normal" range, I was very sick and finally found a doctor to treat me. The first symptoms that come back when I need an increase in meds are the terrible foot pain, sleep problems, depression and swollen fingers & eyes!! Your antibodies could be high because of autoimmune thyroid disorder (Hashimotos).
Ask your doctor for a TSH test, but also try to get a free T3 and free T4 test as well. Go to the thyroid boards and read all you can to educate yourself. There are a lot of doctors who aren't really up to speed on thyroid issues!!
